Samuel DENNETT Sr. had a son, Nicholas, for Nicholas, son of Samuel and Sarah (FROST) DENNETT was born in June 1745. (New Eng. Hist and Gen. Reg.. 71:212)
Nicholas DENNETT (Samuel 4, Ebenezer 3, Alexander 2, Alexander 1) was married to Phoebe Fabyan on Dec. 31, 1767, and he and his wife renewed their covenants with the First Church at Sacco on July 2, 1769, the date of the baptism of their first child, John. (Sacco Records pp. 16-84)
Nicholas was a Selectman of Sacco in 1796 and signed the petition for fifty acres of land in Sacco to be used for a burying ground, site of a meeting-house and a training field. (Hist of Sacco--Owen pp. 113) He died 24 Sept. 1814 (Sacco Record p. 221) Phoebe dies 16 Fed. 1818. (Sacco Rec. p. 225)
